 Good day, good day! So here's the deal, I 'm leaving town on AUGUST 10 until SEPTEMBER 6 and starting school again on the 7th of September, so book your appointments before I leave if you can! After I get back I will be working but *ONLY* on Saturdays. Before I leave I'm working Mon-Thurs all day (10am-10pm) and Fri-Sat-Sun 10am to noon, for those who can't make it for a weekday.

My new place has free parking! And is walking distance from Dufferin Subway Station. Please email for more info!

In other news, I have some "abandoned hair" specials, where people have started a job and it wasn't executed for whatever reason. I've been holding on to them for a while and should clear the space. They are listed as follows:

- full head varying length (8" - 12") any size dark brown (#2 & #4) human hair dread extenders  - Materials free, value of $140.

 

- 1/4 head super short neon/electric blue plastikhaar double ended dreads - value $100, for $50 including install

 

- half head natural black 18" spanish wave human hair, suitable for microrings. Materials free value of $60.

 It's spring it's spring it's spring it's spring! I don't know about you but I am welcoming the newly awakened sun that's pouring down, and happy to stash away my heavy jackets for another few seasons. Congratulations to all the recent grads! Also, thanks to everyone who came out to the Bazaar of the Bizarre! Great to see and meet you there.

News for the spring: My prices for Dread work will be going up to $40/hour for students and $50/hour for everyone else starting June 1st.  This is due, in large part, to my costs going up, but the price had also been the same for many years at this point. Sorry to any this may inconvenience. Cuts are available as well for $30. Color is not offered.

My schedule for the summer will be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday night and Thursday, with a little flexibility in the case of emergency.

 Happy belated new year, my inquiring strangers and amazing clientelle from over the years! May it be an excellent one and beyond. I recently realized that my website was down due to the domain expiring without me getting a notice of that, but I am happy to say it is back up and running, that I am certainly still in business (how could I leave? I love this job!), and that I have also moved to a new space in Toronto!

2009 was full of amazing sparkly clients and a lot of fun, satisfying work, even if I was all over the place logistically. I love all of your beautiful dreads, and am really pleased to be able to help you feel more comfortable in them when I can.

 hola! An important notice!!! I, Neko, will be out of town from August 28 to September 13, down at Burning Man (Come say hi at Mutant Mo's if you end up there too!) and also over this weekend I am moving! So all of my regular clients, there will be a new location. I'll be notifying you all of the change as appointments are made!!

More good news, I'm getting a cell when I return as well, so I'll be easier to get in touch with. That's about it! Hope you had a wicked summer, all of you, and that you're milking the most out of the end of it ;)

 Hello my fellow hair nerds! Happy spring to you! So, I have some news.. I am back in school for the summer, and will only be available for appointments Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon.. Regardless of the time constraints, I am totally into making things work and will do my best to accomodate everyone I can! It will just be a tighter schedule these days. Same place, though!

That's it! Business as usual. Things should return to normal or at least change to something different by September when school is finished.  For the summer, calling will be really unreliable so please please please email me ;) hair@neko-designs.com or nikolatopia@gmail.com if you're not getting an answer!
